The new novel by Vyacheslav Kevorkov is the result of many years of research by the author into the always remaining in the shadows, but no less heroic component of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, namely the brilliantly organized sabotage work in the occupied territory, which went down in history under the name “radio game” (“Funkspiel”) "), when saboteurs recruited by Soviet intelligence reported to Schellenberg's department the information emanating from the Soviet Center that was not in doubt in Berlin. The “radio game” played an important role in the outcome of the Battle of Kursk and the subsequent military operations, as well as in preventing the assassination attempt on Stalin in 1944 - an operation that Hitler entrusted to Schellenberg and supervised personally. The organizer of the “radio games” was from the very beginning in 1942 a young Soviet officer Grigory Grigorenko, who “outplayed” the youngest member of the Hitler elite, Walter Schellenberg. The prototypes of the heroes of the historical novel were real participants in the events, many of whom the author knew personally. The genre of a historical novel in this case should not mislead the reader and implies, first of all, the fact that all the events described are based on genuine and voluminous documentary material from archival and historical sources in three languages, as well as the stories of participants in the events. In addition to the author’s own memories as a participant in the war, who worked on the territory of Germany and Austria and after its end. The book is addressed to the widest circle of readers, and above all to the young reader, seeking and waiting for the truth, interested in both world history and the history of his Fatherland. p>
