The Creed is the confession expressed by the Holy Fathers of the Church. Many Christian missionaries addressed their contemporaries, explaining the foundations of this confession. The peculiarity of this interpretation of the Creed, undoubtedly, is the poetic talent and holiness of the life of its author - St. Nicholas of Serbia, an outstanding preacher, thinker and spiritual writer of the twentieth century. Many of the saint's contemporaries considered faith to be the lot of people lagging behind world progress. The word of the saint, based on the experience of a truly evangelical life, is addressed to both intellectuals and simpletons - to truly educated people striving to reveal the image of God in themselves in order to become like Christ.
