Автор майстерно поєднує історичні факти з вигаданими елементами, створюючи неповторну атмосферу. Персонажі, зокрема П'єтро та Ернест Бірен, прописані дуже детально, що дозволяє читачеві відчути їхні переживання та мотивацію. Хоча переклад тексту має деякі недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися сюжетом. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить історичні романи з елементами музики та драми!
