Роман "Тільки троянда" Мюріель Барбері вразив мене своєю глибиною та емоційною насиченістю. Історія незвичайної жінки, яка вирушає в Кіото, щоб знайти свого батька, відкриває перед читачем не лише красу японської культури, а й складні переживання, пов'язані з втратою та пошуками ідентичності. Автор майстерно описує атмосферу міста, його храми та природу, що дозволяє відчути себе частиною цієї подорожі. Взаємини головної героїні з Полем, помічником її батька, розкривають тему кохання, яке може з'явитися у найнеочікуваніший момент. Хоча переклад книги не завжди ідеальний, це не заважає насолоджуватися чудовою історією та її глибокими сенсами. Рекомендую всім, хто шукає не лише захоплюючий сюжет, а й можливість заглянути у власну душу!
