The manual for psychiatrists and internists on the diagnosis and treatment of somatoform (“psychosomatic” disorders) presents basic concepts, clinical criteria and differential diagnosis of somatoform disorders. The principles of therapy using synthetic psychopharmacological drugs are outlined, and in more detail - medicinal herbs and complex herbal remedies. The manual is a continuation of the authors’ monograph “Homeopathy and antihomotoxicology in the treatment of mental disorders.” The authors will be grateful for all constructive comments and invite all interested individuals and organizations to cooperate in the program “Consultative Psychiatry and Psychotherapy in Eastern Europe.”
