The book defines the development paths of linguistic poetics at the turn of the 20th–21st centuries. At the same time, the main setting is the title idea of “synthesis of the whole,” which reflects not only the principle of the existence of literary texts and entire individual author systems, but also the leading research principle that the author of the book himself follows. The monograph contains texts written over a period of 20 years, and by their sequence one can judge the development of the scientific interests of its author. From a linguistic point of view, the problems of naming prose and poetic works are considered, the phenomenon of “poet’s prose” is studied, and the evolution of avant-garde poetics from the beginning of the 20th century to the turn of the 20th–21st centuries is analyzed. The analysis involves the works of art by A. Pushkin, F. Dostoevsky, V. Nabokov, B. Pasternak, M. Tsvetaeva, D. Kharms, L. Aronzon, E. Mnatsakanova, G. Aiga and many other poets and writers of the 19th–21st centuries .The book is interdisciplinary in nature. It is intended for linguists, literary scholars and specialists in a wide range of humanities.
