Vladimir Mayakovsky is a titan of early Soviet art, playwright, artist, poet, who stood at the origins of Russian futurism. Mayakovsky’s poetry is dynamic, spontaneous and very daring, with an original metric and memorable sound, rich in unusual metaphors.
