In search of an enchanted alchemical manuscript, Diana Bishop, an Oxford historian and heiress of witches, together with Matthew Clermont, a vampire, is transported from the 21st century to London in 1590, where she finds herself in the world of alchemy and magic and meets Matthew's old friends from the Mystic School nights. Діана Бішоп, як спадкоємиця відьом, виявляється в захопливій подорожі, де їй доводиться не лише знайти алхімічний рукопис, але й навчитися керувати своїми здібностями. Метью Клермон, вампір з його складним минулим, додає сюжету глибини та емоційності. Я була вражена, як автор зумів передати всі нюанси відносин між персонажами, їхні переживання та боротьбу за виживання в світі надприродних сил. Хоча переклад тексту іноді містить незначні недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися захоплюючим сюжетом. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить магію, історію та незабутні пригоди!
