A thousand years ago, a mortal warrior from the Shadow Clan, consumed by a thirst for revenge, made a wish to the Great Dragon, the Harbinger of Change. This is how the sword Kamigoroshi appeared, the slayer of gods, who imprisoned the powerful demon Hakaimono within himself. A thousand years passed, and Hakaimono broke free. Hakaimono has one goal - to finally get rid of the cursed sword. To do this, he needs the Scroll of a Thousand Prayers. And only half-breed kitsune Yumeko stands in his way. Yumeko has one task - to take her part of the Dragon Prayer to the Steel Feather Temple so that no one else can summon the Harbinger of Change. But Kage Tatsumi of the Shadow Clan, the brave young man who was supposed to escort Yumeko to the temple, became a helpless prisoner of Hakaimono. And Yumeko is determined to save him, even if she has to fight the strongest of the demons, Jigoku.
