The borderland is a strange place, no longer subject to the laws of our world. A place where it is almost always cold, and combat spells strike no worse than machine gun bullets. No one has yet managed to escape from there into the normal world, but for a former patrolman with the strange nickname Slippery, this is perhaps the only chance to get out alive from a deadly game without rules, into which he fell into by simply buying a knife from a random acquaintance.
