The borderland is a piece of our world, torn to the edges of eternal cold. But even the cold flowing from the north is not capable of completely reshaping the laws of nature. Summer, albeit short and not hot, is coming to Fort. Nikolai Gordeev and Vyacheslav Khmelev have their own plans for the summer. One is attracted by a mysterious lake in the northwest, the other wants to put things in order. But accidents... there’s nowhere without accidents.
