The little black bear Lusa, having left the zoo, decided to live a real “wild” life in freedom. Soon she meets the grizzly bear cub Toklo and another, but only the magical bear cub Ujurak, who can take on the appearance of various animals. Left alone, the little polar bear Kalik continues her journey in search of her missing brother, following the path that thousands and thousands of her fellow tribesmen have taken before her. Four cubs meet at the Great Bear Lake, where all the bears gather on the Longest day of the year. But the serene lake is fraught with danger. Only by making friends will young bears be able to survive and withstand the cruel realities of the world.
