Сюжет розгортається навколо загадкового вбивства Паскуаля, і сліпий лікар Ісаак стає головним героєм, який намагається розкрити цю таємницю. Автор вдало поєднує елементи історії, детективу та психології, що робить книгу неймовірно цікавою. Якість перекладу, хоча й має деякі недоліки, не заважає насолоджуватись сюжетом.
