What we have before us is not just an intellectual biography of Walter Benjamin (a great many of them have been written recently in different languages) and not only a story about how Gershom Scholem wanted to make Benjamin Scholem, and Benjamin remained himself. This is a completely pedantic story from a friend who turned out to be a great scientist, about a friend who became a great philosopher. A diary collected in parts and ordered chronologically, which time itself kept together with the author. From the preface by Ivan Boldyrev to the Russian edition, the publishing layout is preserved in a4.pdf format.
