This publication, for the first time, publishes in Russian the entire currently known correspondence of outstanding artists of the 20th century, Wassily Kandinsky and Arnold Schoenberg (67 letters). In German, the correspondence was published under the editorship of Elena Hal-Fontaine (Hal-Koch): Arnold Schönberg - Wassily Kandinsky: Briefe, Bilder und Dokumente einer außergewöhnlichen Begegnung / Hrsg. J. Hahl-Koch. Salzburg; Wien: Residenz Verlag, 1980. For Russian publication, the scientific apparatus has been expanded, the bibliography has been updated, little-known documentary photographs have been added, and a chronicle of the main events of the two artists has been compiled. The publishing layout has been preserved in A4.pdf format.
