Книга "Зоряна фортеця" - це справжнє кульмінаційне завершення шостої частини серії Doom Star, яке не залишає байдужим жодного шанувальника наукової фантастики. Автор майстерно створює напружену атмосферу війни, де кожен персонаж, від високородного гранд-адмірала Кассіуса до Мартена Клюге, має свою роль у цій великій битві за виживання. Сюжет сповнений несподіваних поворотів, які тримають читача в напрузі до останньої сторінки. Війна між кіборгами та Homo sapiens досягає свого апогею, і читач відчуває всю жорстокість та безвихідь ситуації. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, загальна якість тексту залишається високою, а емоційна насиченість та динаміка сюжету роблять цю книгу справжнім шедевром.
