Книга "Затока ангелів" — це справжня перлина, яка переносить читача в атмосферу Лондона кінця ХІХ століття. Історія Белли Уеверлі, дочки аристократа, що спився, вражає своєю глибиною та емоційною напругою. Автор майстерно передає всі труднощі, з якими стикається головна героїня, змушена працювати служницею, але водночас не втрачає надії на краще життя. Її шлях до кухні самої королеви Вікторії — це не лише боротьба за професійний успіх, а й особистий виклик, що змушує читача співпереживати кожному її рішенню. Відмінно прописані персонажі, захоплюючий сюжет і несподівані повороти подій роблять цю книгу неймовірно цікавою. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які незначно впливають на загальне враження, я б рекомендувала цю книгу всім, хто любить історичні романи з елементами драми та кулінарії. Вона надихає на те, що навіть у найскладніших обставинах можна знайти свій шлях до щастя!
