The “Manifesto of Philosophy” by Alain Badiou (b. 1937) in a concise and energetic form represents one of the most significant events in the history of modern thought - the global “philosophy of the event”, realizing an unprecedented plan in its audacity: in the era of the notorious “end of philosophy” to do more one step and, repeating Plato’s gesture, rebuild philosophy as a universal doctrine, conditioned by the provisions of science, art, politics and love and providing them with the possibility of harmonious coexistence. As Appendixes, the publication includes the texts of the round table dedicated to the discussion of Badiou’s concepts (in which F. Lacoue-Labarthe, J. Rancière, J.-F. Lyotard) and immediately adjacent clarifications of the author’s position. The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
