This book is written based on the memoirs of the “Japanese wife” of the famous intelligence officer Richard Sorge. Ishii Hanako lived with him for six years and got to know “Ramsay” as no one else knew him: a kind man, a gentle lover, a deep intellectual, a fearless fighter and a great actor who had been leading Japanese counterintelligence by the nose for years. This is a story about the amazing life and Ishii Hanako herself - a poor girl from the province, who, by the power of her love, preserved for us the memory of Sorge and his ashes and thereby went down in history. The authors of the book are Japanese scholar Anna Delaunay and the laureate of the Russian Ministry of Defense Prize for the biography of Richard Sorge historian Alexander Kulanov worked on it for several years, so that now you can recognize and understand the other Sorge - Sorge as a person.
