Homecomings is the sixth in the Strangers and Brothers series and sequel to Time of Hope. This complete story in its own right follows Lewis Eliot's life through World War II. After his first wife's death his work at the Ministry assumes a larger role. It is not until his second marriage that Eliot is able to commit himself emotionally.

Автор майстерно передає емоції Льюїса Еліота, його боротьбу з втратою та пошук сенсу життя в умовах війни. Ця історія не лише про війну, а й про відновлення, кохання та надію на краще майбутнє. Хоча переклад книги здійснено за допомогою штучного інтелекту, що іноді призводить до незначних недоліків у тексті, загалом, якість перекладу досить висока і не заважає сприйняттю сюжету. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цінує глибокі емоційні історії, які залишають слід у серці.
