The first publication of a genuine archival investigative file of A.M. A happy, major Russian military leader, under whose command the unprecedented Ice Campaign of the Baltic Fleet was carried out in April 1918, saving 236 ships from capture by the Kaiser’s troops. A month later A.M. Shchastny was arrested (his trial was clearly inspired by L.D. Trotsky) and on June 21, 1918, the Revolutionary Tribunal of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee sentenced him to death for attempting a counter-revolutionary coup. In 1995 A.M. Shchastny was completely rehabilitated.
