The writer Stas Vostokov loves animals very much. Since childhood, he has also loved reading books by the great naturalist and wonderful writer Gerald Durrell. And - this happens! — the love turned out to be mutual: Darrell invited Stas to work at the Jersey Zoo, at the International Training Center for Nature Conservation. Stas, of course, agreed and began to keep a diary, daily recording and sketching the incredible adventures of a Russian trainee on the Normandy island... Thus this book was born, which immediately became the winner of the All-Russian book competition for children and youth “Scarlet Sails.”
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program.
