This book is not at all a continuation of the novel “Donkey Shura,” although the main character here is the daughter of Donkey Shura. Her name, like her mother’s, is Alexandra. A girl, with the help of her friend, learns how to travel through time. The traveler can move into the body of a double living in another era. In the Middle Ages, the heroine's double was the young wife of Baron Gilles de Rais, nicknamed Bluebeard. Shura, through the twin, becomes acquainted with the witchcraft mysteries that the baron was interested in and helps the twin avoid devilish captivity. With the help of a time machine, she enters the body of another double - a monk of the Bon Po religion and learns that there was already a civilization on earth. But the most important task is to help the boyar Morozova, who also turned out to be one of Alexandra’s temporary twins, cope with the dark forces.

Книга "Наслідок" вразила мене своєю оригінальністю та глибиною сюжету. Головна героїня, Олександра, продовжує традиції своєї матері, Ослиної Шури, але при цьому отримує нові можливості та виклики. Мандрівки в часі через двійників – це не лише цікава концепція, але й можливість дослідити різні епохи та культури. Особливо вразила частина, де Олександра стає молодою дружиною барона Жиля де Ре, що додає історії елементів містики та інтриги. Автор вдало поєднує елементи фентезі з історичними реаліями, що робить книгу ще більш захоплюючою. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які, безумовно, можуть бути помітні, це не заважає насолоджуватися чудовою історією. Рекомендую всім, хто любить пригоди, магію та незвичайні сюжети!
