Автор майстерно передає емоції та переживання головного героя, який, переживши жахи концтабору, намагається знайти своє місце у світі, що змінився. Його роздуми про життя, смерть і людську природу змушують задуматися про моральні аспекти, які часто залишаються поза увагою. Паралелі з творами Камю та Кафки відчуваються на кожному кроці, але при цьому роман має свій унікальний стиль і глибину. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які незначно впливають на загальне сприйняття, книга все ж вражає своєю силою і змістом.
