James Hadley Chase (real name Rene Brabazon Raymond) is the author of more than eighty detective novels. J. H. Chase is a master of the “open” detective story, in which the reader is not confronted with the fact of committing a crime, but step by step participates in its preparation. Книга "З/с. Том 9" Джеймса Хедлі Чейза - це справжня знахідка для любителів детективного жанру. Автор, майстер "відкритого" детектива, вміло веде читача через заплутані сюжетні лінії, дозволяючи йому стати частиною процесу розслідування. Чейз створює атмосферу напруги та інтриги, де кожен крок героїв веде до нових відкриттів і несподіваних поворотів. Особливо вразила історія про злочин заради порятунку рідної людини, яка змушує задуматися про моральні аспекти вчинків персонажів. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має недоліки, загальна якість книги не зменшується. Вона захоплює з перших сторінок і тримає в напрузі до самого кінця. Рекомендую всім, хто любить якісні детективи з продуманим сюжетом і глибокими персонажами!
