And he is forced to move with his mother and sister to the town of Pine Mountain, lost in the mountains of Colorado. Arlo soon begins to realize that Pine Mountain is a strange place! Cooper the dog, who died many years ago, wanders near their house. A missing girl talks to Arlo in his room... New friends tell Arlo that in Pine Mountain our world and the magical Long Forest come into contact, where harmless jackalopes and fairy beetles live, as well as terrifying ancient witches, spellcasters and even some -who is worse...
