Автор майстерно передає атмосферу того часу, описуючи не лише битви, але й внутрішні переживання героя, його страхи та надії. Переклад, хоч і має деякі недоліки, все ж не заважає насолоджуватися сюжетом. Яскраві персонажі, динамічний розвиток подій і глибокі моральні питання роблять цю книгу справжнім шедевром. Рекомендую всім, хто любить історичні романи з елементами пригод і драми!
