For me he was a Grizzly. For the whole world, as I found out later, he is a completely different person. I should have died on that mountain. But he saved me. He is more an animal than a man. The grizzly bear is cold, aloof and fiercely protective of its territory. The man seems to hate me just because I'm just breathing, and yet he brought me back to life. Since returning to the city, I can't stop thinking about him. About his rough hands, his intense gaze, and the way he cared for me as if I meant something to him. He warned me that it wasn't safe for me to be around him, and in the end, I understand why. But by then it's too late. My heart belongs to him.
