The novel “The Secret Brother” features alchemists and knights, witches and kings, heretics and the faithful dogs of St. Dominic. The story involves real people and describes real events.

Збірка «Таємний брат» вражає своєю глибиною і багатогранністю. Автор майстерно поєднує елементи історії, фентезі та психологічної драми, створюючи захоплюючий сюжет, який тримає в напрузі до останньої сторінки. Історія монашка Моньо, його мрії про порятунок душі чаклунки та події, що відбуваються на фоні четвертого хрестового походу, створюють неймовірну атмосферу, яка занурює читача у світ середньовічної Європи. Особливо вражає, як автор вдало передає емоції персонажів, їхні внутрішні переживання та боротьбу з обставинами. Додатково, повість «Чорні альпіністи» відкриває завісу на радянське літературне життя, що робить цю збірку ще більш цікавою для тих, хто цікавиться історією літератури. Єдине, що може трохи відволікати, це деякі недосконалості в перекладі, але вони не зменшують загального враження від читання. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цінує якісну літературу з елементами магії та історії!
