The incredible happened, it turns out there is life on Mars. Radio communication was established with its inhabitants. A Martian ship arrived on Earth, inside of which there were only seeds from which Martian lilies grew. Subsequently they grew everywhere. After all, plants that have managed to survive in the atmosphere of Mars are not afraid of any earthly diseases or pests. And so, ships with a load of seeds periodically land, and all that is heard from the receiver is: “Don’t come. Dangerous..."But humanity has set itself a goal - to get to Mars and meet its inhabitants. Many ships died in flight or went missing. The next one starts, piloted by Scott Nixon, who wants to fly to Mars at any cost, where his brother Hugh had previously gone. By chance, instead of his sick partner, a local fool gets into the rocket with Scott. Upon arrival on Mars, Scott discovers only a lonely metal tower around which Martian lilies grow, as well as... his brother Hyuga, who reveals to him the terrible secret of the Martians. And now there is only one task - to inform Earth at any cost about the terrible danger looming over humanity.
