1880. The Russian Empire conquers Central Asia. While crossing the Caspian Sea on ships of the Caspian Flotilla, a military unit led by the hero of the Russian-Turkish War, General Skobelev, is inexplicably transported to 1108. The detachment of ships is commanded by another hero of the same war, Captain Makarov. The young commander and naval commander quickly understand where and when they ended up. Using the troops and ships at their disposal, they begin the construction of the Russian Empire in the 12th century. To begin with, they seize Transcaucasia.
