This is the first and, unfortunately, so far the only book in our philosophical literature specifically devoted to deception - such a widespread phenomenon that permeates all pores of our personal and public life. The fundamental value of truth is clear to everyone. But imagine what would happen in people's lives, in politics, economics, etc., if suddenly all people stopped deceiving and spoke only the truth? The author set as his goal: to consider and, if possible, streamline the extremely diverse manifestations of deception, to comprehend such phenomena such as virtuous deception, half-truths, self-deception, based on philosophical, psychological, historical materials and works of fiction. The appendix contains articles that allow you to deepen your understanding of certain issues of the topic under discussion.

Книга "Філософія обману" стала для мене справжнім відкриттям у світі філософської літератури. Автор майстерно розглядає обман як невід'ємну частину нашого життя, підкреслюючи його багатогранність і складність. Я був вражений, як глибоко і всебічно він аналізує різні прояви обману, включаючи доброчесний обман і самообман, спираючись на філософські, психологічні та історичні матеріали. Книга спонукає задуматися про те, як би змінилося наше суспільство, якби всі почали говорити тільки правду. Додаткові статті в кінці книги допомагають поглибити розуміння теми, що обговорюється. Єдине, що трохи відволікало від читання, це деякі недоліки в перекладі, але загалом текст залишається зрозумілим і цікавим. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто хоче замислитися про природу обману і його роль у нашому житті!
