The textbook contains material on key issues in the history and theory of law and state, it examines the system and most important branches of Russian law - constitutional, civil, family, labor, criminal, etc. The main text of the textbook is supplemented by interesting facts, information, and documents. The extensive methodological apparatus includes questions for self-control, topics for projects, abstracts and discussions, headings “This is interesting”, “Information for thought”, “Examining documents and materials”. At the end of the book there is a dictionary of legal concepts and a list of Internet resources. The textbook complies with the Federal State Educational Standard of Secondary (Complete) General Education, approved by the Russian Academy of Education and the Russian Academy of Sciences, and included in the Federal List.
