Date of sale: 09/13/2007 Boileau-Narcejac is a creative tandem of two famous French writers Pierre Boileau and Thomas Narcejac, winners of numerous literary awards. Under this name, many plays, stories, film scripts, essays, as well as four dozen novels were published, many of which glorified their authors as classics of the world psychological detective story. The proposed story is based on true facts, so the narrator, as a precaution, changed the names of the participants in the events. The reader, who nevertheless recognizes himself in one of the characters in this strange story, will take upon himself a share of responsibility for the events taking place in it.
