Автор, Олександр Кердан, майстерно переносить читача у часи російських першопрохідників, які відправляються в Каліфорнію, де їх чекають небезпечні пригоди, нові знайомства та випробування. Я відчував себе частиною цієї захопливої подорожі, переживаючи разом з героями їхні радощі та втрати. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має недоліки, це не заважає загальному враженню від книги. Я б рекомендував цей роман усім, хто любить історію, пригоди та глибокі емоції. Це справжня перлина, яка залишить слід у вашій душі!
