Джордж Ляташ майстерно поєднує факти з захоплюючим сюжетом, що дозволяє читачеві не лише дізнатися про життя Теодоріка Великого, але й відчути атмосферу епохи. Війни, інтриги та дипломатичні ігри, описані в книзі, настільки яскраво передані, що я відчував себе частиною цих подій. Особливо вразила глибина персонажів, їхні внутрішні переживання та мотивації, що робить їх живими і реалістичними. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має незначні недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися історією. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цікавиться історією та хоче поринути у світ великого короля Остготів!
