While still a teenager, Mithridates will have to endure the unexpected death of his father, the betrayal of his mother and fight not even for the throne, but for the right to walk on this earth, not to become a shadow in Hades. Книга "Мітрідат" Віталія Гладкого — це справжній епос, який занурює читача в захоплюючий світ давньої історії. Автор майстерно відтворює атмосферу епохи, в якій жив Мітрідат VI Євпатор, показуючи не лише його військові досягнення, а й особисті трагедії та боротьбу за виживання. Оповідання починається з важливих моментів життя молодого Мітрідата, який, попри всі труднощі, стає символом сили та стійкості. Читач може відчути емоції героя, його страхи та надії, що робить цю книгу не лише історичним нарисом, а й глибоким психологічним дослідженням. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має деякі недоліки, загальна якість викладу та змісту компенсує ці недоліки. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цікавиться історією та хоче дізнатися більше про одного з найзначніших царів давнини.
