Вінс Новал, головний герой, є яскравим персонажем, який поєднує в собі всі риси класичного детектива: він талановитий, але водночас вразливий, що робить його ще більш привабливим для читача. Сюжет розгортається в маленькому містечку, де кожен куточок приховує свої таємниці, а кожен персонаж має свій унікальний характер. Автор майстерно створює напругу та інтригу, змушуючи читача з нетерпінням чекати на розв'язку. Хоча текст перекладено з використанням штучного інтелекту, що іноді призводить до незначних недоліків у формулюваннях, це не заважає насолоджуватися захоплюючою історією. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить детективи з дотепним гумором та глибокими персонажами!
