Prisoners of the Earth: (Tunguska secrets. Volume P). Comp. and comm. M. Fomenko. - B.m.: Salamandra P.V.V., 2014. - 95 p. — (Polaris: Travel, Adventure, Fantasy. Issue LXIII). The two-volume “Tunguska Secrets” brings together early science fiction works dedicated to the mystery of the Tunguska meteorite. The second volume of the publication includes M. Semenov’s fantastic story “Prisoners of the Earth” (1937), where the author, for the first time in Soviet science fiction, described the Tunguska meteorite as a ship of aliens. The publication also includes A. Kazantsev’s classic story “The Explosion” (1946), which marked the beginning of the “Tunguska boom” of fantastic stories, novellas and novels, and B. Lyapunov’s polemicizing story “From the Depths of the Universe” (1950).

The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
