And all this heavy artillery is put into action for the sake of the teenage girl’s victory over her nosy friend, who is gradually taking over her living space. And at the same time - over herself, over her illusions and temptations. Two young heroines - as almost everywhere in Amelie Nothomb's works - enter into a battle for life and death.
