“We live not in a country of reviving Orthodoxy or Islam, but in a country of victorious occultism.” In the usual liberal spirit, such a gloomy conclusion could be attributed to the religious obscurantism of Fr. deacon, however, the author of the book - just unlike the usual liberals - took the trouble to familiarize himself with a very large number of authoritative occult works generally recognized by practitioners in this area, and the reasoning given in them about the identity of Christ and Satanael, extreme praise for the Light-Bearer-Lucifer, as well as the details of Tibetan cult practice, even if not for a purely devout believer, but only for a residually Christian view, are overly glazed with brimstone. The breadth and variety of occult hobbies practiced by Russians, which have fully acquired the rights of secular decency, clearly indicate a greatly reduced, if not completely lost, sense of smell... People are free to practice any tantra and mantra, but to the extent that they are generally able to realize their actions, they should clearly understand for themselves their relationship with Christianity arising from tantra and mantra - reject, reject, repent, repent, but at least not lie or keep silent. The book of Fr. is dedicated to the clarification of these relationships. deacon, who honestly warns readers that in a certain sense he wants to deprive them of freedom: “You have the right to think differently than Orthodoxy, you can understand the Gospel itself and the meaning of Christian life differently than Orthodoxy, and finally, you can simply say and write what you want . But there is one thing you cannot do - in these cases you cannot pass off the cocktail of your thoughts as Orthodoxy.” Maxim Sokolov
