At the end of 1929, the book Das Geheimnis der Goldenen Blüte (Ein chinesisches Lebensbuch) was published in Munich. It included a German translation of the Chinese treatise “The Secret of the Golden Flower”, made by sinologist Richard Wilhelm, his commentary on this text and Jung’s “European” commentary, which the reader holds in his hands.
