The book by Jacques Cesar Emile Ellul, a philosopher, theologian, historian and sociologist all in one, is dedicated to propaganda. He analyzed the processes of modern society related to propaganda and proved that it is no longer functional without propaganda, described in detail how propaganda influences the structure of public opinion and what impact it has on the human psyche, explained why a democratic society ceases to be democratic if the government begins to manipulate society through propaganda. Jacques Ellul's research will be of interest to historians and sociologists, since it is devoted to the analysis of a phenomenon in which we all unwittingly take part; political strategists and propagandists should take it into service as a textbook in order to learn how to deceive a person so that he would not even guess about it , and the common man needs to read it to try not to be deceived. The date of the first edition of “Propaganda” is 1962, however, the relevance is beyond doubt, since when reading it one gets the feeling that the author is describing the events of our days. The publishing layout of the book is saved in PDF A4 format.
