There has been a traffic accident in the center of Brighton. A young cyclist died under the wheels of a refrigerator. The accident involved two more cars, driven by a young woman, Carly Chase, and a reckless driver, who immediately left the scene of the accident. It would seem that an ordinary tragedy of a big city is nothing more. However, soon, one after another, the police discover the corpses of the refrigerator driver and the reckless driver, killed with extreme cruelty. The case is transferred to the Major Crimes Unit, led by Superintendent Roy Grace. His employees will have to find the killer as soon as possible in order to prevent the death of the third possible victim - Carly Chase.
