The novel is dedicated to the reign of Ivan Kalita - one of the most important periods in the history of the creation of the Moscow state.
In some electronic libraries, it was mistakenly added to the series “Moscow Sovereigns”, written by Dmitry Mikhailovich Balashov. The 1995 edition of “Ivan Kalita” (the “Rurikovich” series) included “The Burden of Power” by D.M. Balashov and “Rus of Zalesskaya” by B.E. Tumasov.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program.
