Автор майстерно використовує образ Міноса з "Пекла" Данте, перетворюючи його на маніяка, який вершить своє власне правосуддя. Цей підхід надає твору особливу атмосферу та змушує читача задуматися про моральність та справедливість. Сюжет захоплює з перших сторінок, а інтригуючі повороти тримають в напрузі до самого кінця. Хоча переклад тексту місцями може бути не зовсім ідеальним, це не заважає насолоджуватися історією.
