The near future. Climate change and extreme weather events are leaving millions of people homeless as Europe's economy and infrastructure begin to crumble. England is suffocating from the flow of refugees, incredible heat and an epidemic that has already swept the whole world. The police forces are struggling to maintain order, and the coast and most of the country are virtually left to be plundered by countless gangs, the main one of which is led by the mysterious King Death. In this world, the daughter of the most ordinary person is kidnapped right from his home. Two years pass and the police can do nothing to help him. Against the backdrop of constant floods, hurricanes and general chaos, the case of the missing girl is of little interest to anyone. And then the father, going crazy with grief, begins the search himself. He does not yet know what darkness they will lead him into, he does not know that the terrible legends circulating about King Death do not lie.
