On the verge of bankruptcy, director Kyle Freeman receives an offer he can’t refuse: for a hefty fee, he can make a documentary about the long-forgotten Doomsday Temple sect, almost all of whose members committed suicide in 1975. It's simple: three locations, ten days and several survivors ready to tell the story of the Temple on camera. But the further the filming goes, the more terrible events begin to happen around the film crew: people die, strange visions haunt the director himself, and at the filming site he finds skeletons of unknown creatures emerging from the walls. Pretty soon, Kyle realizes that some secrets are better left unknown, and the Doomsday Temple, in its occult quest, seems to have stumbled upon something terrible, otherworldly, and now it will stop at nothing.

Неймовірна психологічна драма з елементами жахів!
Книга "Судні дні" вразила мене своїм напруженим сюжетом і глибоким зануренням у психологію персонажів. Історія про режисера Кайла Фрімана, який намагається зняти документальний фільм про секту, що закінчила своє існування трагічно, виявилася не лише захоплюючою, але й страшною. Кожна сторінка наповнена напругою, а події, що розгортаються, змушують читача відчувати себе частиною знімальної групи, що опинилася в пастці. Автор майстерно грає на страхах і невідомості, створюючи атмосферу, яка залишає відчуття тривоги навіть після закінчення читання. Хоча переклад тексту місцями може бути не зовсім ідеальним, це не заважає насолоджуватися неймовірною історією. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить жахи та психологічні трилери!
