Kim Seung Ok (born 1941) is one of the outstanding modern Korean writers, an excellent master of prose. Despite the fact that among the prose writers of modern Korean literature, the duration of his literary activity is relatively short, the few works he created, which perfectly depict the turning point of the era of the sixties of the 20th century through the eyes of a contemporary, have a unique individuality. Thanks to his sensual style, lively and apt language, and laconic presentation, Kim Seung Ok has a reputation as an “alchemist of prose.” Critics define his work as a “revolution of sensuality.” Kim Seung-ok’s talent is multifaceted: he became famous both as a cartoonist and as a screenwriter and director. He is the recipient of many of Korea's most prestigious literary awards.

The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program.
