Under the influence of the demonic Blight, dragons, dwarves, elves, goblins, humans and orcs began to struggle for control over the scattered kingdoms. The Guardians of Tirisfal are the divinely empowered defenders of Azeroth who have waged a secret war against the Burning Legion for generations. One of them, Medivh, was destined from birth to become the greatest and most powerful member of his noble order. But even in his youth, darkness stained his soul, desecrating its purity and turning to evil the one who should have fought on the side of good. Medivh's struggle with the evil within himself became fateful for all of Azeroth... and changed the world forever.
